Olaf is a fictional character from Disney's Frozen franchise as a lifeless snowman created by Elsa and Anna in their childhood and then a living role who help Anna searche for her runaway sister in hopes of restoring summer.
Olaf description
"Hi, everyone. I'm Olaf. And I like warm hugs." Olaf is described by its creators. Jennifer Lee: "And so he was just a lot of fun, and emotionally he'll bring a lot that we weren't able to show you yet, too. So he's funny in the kids-state-the-obvious kind of way." Chris Buck: "And he can say very poignant things too." As a snowman created by Elsa for her younger sister Anna in their childhood Olaf represents innocent love and the joy the sisters once had before being split. Also for him, the creators used the magic Disney formula "character for all ages and for all tastes." As a behavior, we can say that Olaf, the Snowman, is the comic character of the movie with affinities with Lumière from Beauty and the Beast (1991), Genie from Aladdin (1992), Timon from The Lion King (1994), just to name a few. The irony used by Olaf is unmistakable: OLAF: And you are? ANNA: I'm Anna. OLAF: And who's the funky-looking donkey over there?
[actually asking about Kristoff] ANNA: That's Sven. OLAF: And who's the reindeer? ANNA: Sven. OLAF: Okay. That makes things easier for me.
